Parliament of India | Requirement of Assistant (Lok Sabha Secretariat) - 40 Posts
Our parliament is the supreme legislative body of India. Our parliament comprises of the President and the two houses – Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Lok Sabha is known as the house of people. The main function of this house is to pass the laws.
Job profile: The executive, legislative, committee and protocol assistants will be required to help their departments in formulation and execution of various activities and provide assistance in the field of computers (protocols etc).
Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 27 years. However, relaxation is available.
Educational Qualifications: A candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university and a certificate in computer course recognized by AICTE OR DOEACC courses.
No. of posts: There are 40 posts in total. These are distributed as – 2 for SC, 4 for ST, 7 for OBC and 27 for General.
Pay scale: The candidates will be given a pay scale of Rs9300-34000 plus a grade pay of Rs.4600. Other allowances will be given as per the rules.
Selection process: A candidate will have to appear for a written test followed by a personal interview. The written test will be in 2 parts (preliminary and main).
How to apply: The candidates have to apply in a type written format available on the website. The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs100 in the form of a DD or a Postal Order in the favor of Drawing and Disbursing Officer (Lok Sabha Secretariat) and it should be payable at SBI Sansadiya Soudha Branch in New Delhi. The candidates must write the name of the post applied for on top of the envelope. The applications must be sent by only post to THE JOINT RECRUITMENT CELL ROOM NO.521, PARLIAMENT HOUSE ANNEXE.
