Job Description: IIST invites applications for the following faculty positions :

1) Professor : 03 posts
Pay Scale : Rs.37400-67000 grade pay Rs.8900/-
Qualification : Ph.D in relevant subject and Should possess first class in B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech./B.A and M.Sc. /M.E. /M. Tech/ M.A with 5 years experience at Associate Professor level
Age : 45 years

2) Associate Professor : 03 posts
Pay Scale : Rs.37400-67000 grade pay Rs.8700/-
Qualification : Ph.D in relevant subject and Should possess first class in B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech./B.A and M.Sc. /M.E. /M. Tech/ M.A with Four years Teaching/ Research Experience of which at least 2 years should be at Assistant Professor level
Age : 45 years

3) Assistant Professor : 18 posts
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.7600
Qualification : Ph.D in relevant subject and Should possess first class in B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech./B.A and M.Sc. /M.E. /M. Tech/ M.A with Significant research contribution.
Age : 40 years
